Long Long Instrumental

-always be my favorite. I have a friend that once said to me that she is a really lyrical person for a music. It means like she concerns a lot about what the songs lyric's all about, and it a significant capacity that shows whether it's a good song or not. It makes me analyze my preference subconsciously towards my friend's statement. I'm a fan of words. it's true. Good, poetical and positive meaning words means much to me. I like books and I adore movies with fine dialogue. But then, I realize how is it exactly, my brain processing music. Melody, ambiance, colours, hot or cold, shine or dark, strawberries or apple, a sunset or a manicurely beautiful landscape are all these random things I kinda felt or imagine when I hear musics. I mean, basically musics could stand without any words and it can be that abstract. It can be just sound that don't have their own identity but melt with other sound beautifully (quote Branco and Thomas, Phoenix)
I tried an experiment with myself, and if you wanted to follow along you have to close your eyes. Now remember your favorite foreign-language songs that you like. Non-english, non-your native language and also not a language you ever learn sometime in your life. It's a completely unknown language. You just know it's French or Italian or Spanish or maybe Swahili or else. What if you lost in translation. Like there isn't any other word in other language that can explain one certain word.
Other case, what about full longs instrumental music? It's one beautiful example of imagine what you wanted to. Or just let images pop up into your sight and memories.
You have to rely only for the sound and melodies. You can close your eyes and picture any, ANY things you could possibly picture, whether it's total utopia or childish.
It's beautiful when you can just transcend into another level of listening and enjoying. I adore when bunch of music intelligence people talk about all diagram and note in numeric and mathematics way or like rule of making music when the drum rely on the guitar or anything like that. But when you talk about music composition with stories, with a different layer of depth, it's just conquer me. I'm not saying that one thing is more important than another, I'm just saying that when it serves to you as an audio listener, you hear it just and feel it just. Any genres, any lyrics, any instruments, when it's sound beautiful and sung passionately, I would like them. It's as simple as that.
I enjoy not making sense of my own preference, and you shouldn't try too hard too.
