Upward over the mountain

I loved this song like a year ago and then listened to it again and love this song all over again. I think it has one of the most romantic lyric ever written. Mother, don't worry. I killed the last snake that lived in the creek bed Mother, don't worry. I've got some money I saved for the weekend Mother, remember being so stern with that girl who was with me? Mother, remember the blink of an eye when I breathed through your body? So may the sunrise bring hope where it once was forgotten Sons are like birds flying upwards over the mountain Mother, I made it up from the bruise on the floor of this prison Mother, I lost it all of the fear of the Lord I was given Mother, forget me now that the creek drank the cradle you sang to Mother, forgive me I sold your car for the shoes that I gave you So may the sunrise bring hope where it once was forgotten Sons can be birds taken broken up to the mountain Mother, don't worry. I've got a coat and some friends on the corner Mother...

Long Long Instrumental

-always be my favorite. I have a friend that once said to me that she is a really lyrical person for a music. It means like she concerns a lot about what the songs lyric's all about, and it a significant capacity that shows whether it's a good song or not. It makes me analyze my preference subconsciously towards my friend's statement. I'm a fan of words. it's true. Good, poetical and positive meaning words means much to me. I like books and I adore movies with fine dialogue. But then, I realize how is it exactly, my brain processing music. Melody, ambiance, colours, hot or cold, shine or dark, strawberries or apple, a sunset or a manicurely beautiful landscape are all these random things I kinda felt or imagine when I hear musics. I mean, basically musics could stand without any words and it can be that abstract. It can be just sound that don't have their own identity but melt with other sound beautifully (quote Branco and Thomas, Phoenix) I tried an experiment ...

The Good From J

I listen all type of music basically, and like any different type of genre and all. There are some few genre that I really like and they appear so unique for me. I wanted to line up my favorite Japanese bands in this post. Some of them are really talented, I promise you. first, Toe. people would think I love Toe because their pretty guitar melodic, and yes that's also true but the main part is I love their drum note. They have this ghostly and dreamy and such great drum beat. For instance, this one metronome song, I like it's pretty melody intro, but when the drum fill in, it killed. this one is my favorite too They're also amazing at live performance. Second, Kenichi Fumoto, a singer songwriter. I first listen to his song, バリケード(Barricade) and like it right away. It was hideously dificult to find his full album, but lucky for me, I found his first shoegaze album, called 美化 (Bika). This one is my favorite, titled 17 in english And next, I have Shugo Tokumaru, a singer son...

That's creepy

Image
'That's creepy' 'what?' 'your music taste' - someone told me today. I could just laugh the statement away. I like friend with same taste of movie and music, it could keep the conversation awake and all. But rather than that, I love having friend with interesting different taste of things like music and movies. They makes you know many other new things. What outside the comfort zone you called your type. Like, this one song I like from Andrew Bird he called creepy. He told me that he could picture a sinking ship with hundred dead coffin floating while this song playing in the background. I was like, if there's anything creepy that would be you.

An Angle

I’d prefer to have someone wait for me in the rain rather than someone constantly bring flower and spilled -I love yous. Someone simply hold and be there rather than someone ask too many questions. Comfortable silents and low whisper of names. Someone write songs about rainbows and butterflies rather than possess song with -i’d die if you’re not mine, in every sentences. Mother Mother, have you seen your laughter Fall into the arms of angels Mother if you see me I’m alright. Range of clouds on sunny weather rise onto the breeze of meadow. Mother did you help God paint the sky? - There aren’t that three letter words yet I feel the romantics of it. Fond and light and warm are all I feel while swallow every bit of this new album from Adhitia Sofyan, ‘How to stop time’. I love the way the lyrics speak in an almost subtle way about love itself. I always hope I can have it in me, the ability to write such simple and honest words and compose them into beautiful melodies. God. I adore those p...

Midnight Stuff

What would you like for passing the night? mine are good stories and good music and ehm good snack. Thank Adhitia Sofyan for good music and cup noodles for good snack. I've been feeling down lately until I got the other bereavement news and realize how simple matter I've been coping with. There're much more worst cases out there it make me thanking God for what I am now. Still, life is so sad recently.

Rambling

IT'S ALREADY a second week of new semester and it flew fine. Although I've been in a silent mode with my brother so there are no -please-pick-me-up-at-station text anymore. I ended up with the public rides and all the walking to home, not to mention a full 6 in 7 schedule. I'm feeling so tired it aching my ankle and shins. Stupid brother. I'm in a whiny bitch condition now, so it's better to just end this post here. PS. need to play guitar to get it off and I think this song is pretty nice.

All things white and closed.

Sometimes we just didn't get the right time to understand things around us. We can fascinated by something, completely driven nuts by universe but forget it all the day after. We falling in love today but back at being strangers tomorrow. We've captivating by the sunshine before forget it when night came. We laugh and happy and goofy this night but cry and sad and all clever at day. And it leaves us in the damn circle we can't run from.      I had a pretty bad dream last night, if you ever ask why I came up with such a sad paragraph to beginning this post. And the melody is just lovely.      So my short holiday will officially ended by the morning of monday this 23rd september. I've got new class schedule but the same hectic one. I already can see myself in the overcrowded train every morning schedule, but hey, things can't get any worst.     right?     ugh. no.

If

'If you're going to San Francisco Be sure to wear some flowers in your hair If you're going to San Francisco You're gonna meet some gentle people there' to my father and grandma. there some wishes from me. to your path. both of you. I know it isn't San Fransisco take place. but I hope that was a better place than here. somewhere nice. with nice people and weather, with some flowers too. top of that I'll pray for you. I know, you did that to me. so long. so.. long.

Sleep Maps - Fiction Makes The Future

Image
if you've been reading this blog for a while, you'll know how big of outer space fan i am. meteorid, stars, planets, constellation, galaxies, the way of these celestial bodies exist and works were mesmerized my mind for quite a long time. and be a astronomer will always be my little secret dream hehe. I got the 'outer' feel when i'm listen to this brand new mini album by Sleep Maps. an instrumental music that brings me feeling relax and awkward at the same time within their 40 minutes. Including five tracks: 1. Men Against The Stars 2. The Eternal Wanderer 3. Forbidden Light 4. A Greater Fire 5. Last Future . . . The album is a fully formed barrage of guitars from start to finish and songs often end in a completely different place to where they began. For the listener it provides you the opportunity to attach the songs to you’re own emotions, and in this way ‘Fiction Makes The Future’ is a very personal album that you can make as deep or shallow as you want it to b...

The journey of the soul

Image
you don't have a soul, you are a soul. you have a body - C S Lewis ... i can hardly explain things i felt. a 'feeling' itself is something i can't describe by words. but it do exist. like a soul. we feel it exist in our body without we touch or even see it. those are my feeling when i listen to alcest. they really do brings me to my own space and place. makes me comfortable somehow. Alcest - that is music from another world, a world that is real, but that exists beyond ours and cannot be grasped by our senses. A world where all appearances - trees, glades, streams - emit a pearly light and where a faraway and celestial music fills the air like sweet perfume. A world inhabited by infinitely benevolent and protective beings of light, communicating in a wordless 'language' directly from one soul to another. A world where the soul knows neither pain nor sickness nor sorrow, but is filled with a deep peace and an ineffable bliss. A world that lies 'before' ...

source : we ♥ it We're all young and naive still We require certain skill The motive changes like the wind Hard to control when it begins The bittersweet between my teeth Trying to find the in-between Fall back in love eventually Yeah yeah yeah yeah Can't help myself but count the flaws Claw my way out through these walls One temporary escape Feel it start to permeate We lie beneath the stars at night Our hands gripping each other tight You keep my secrets hope to die Promises, swear them to the sky The bittersweet between my teeth Trying to find the in-between Fall back in love eventually Yeah yeah yeah yeah As it withers Brittle it shakes Can you whisper As it crumbles and breaks As you shiver Count up all your mistakes Pair of forgivers Let go before it's too late Can you whisper Can you whisper Can you whisper Can you whisper The bittersweet between my teeth Trying to find the in-between Fall back in love eventually Yeah yeah yeah yeah The bittersweet between my teeth T...

fall is here, hear the yell back to school, ring the bell brand new shoes, walking blues climb the fence, book and pens i can tell that we are gonna be friends walk with me, suzy lee through the park, by the tree we will rest upon the ground and look at all the bugs we've found then safely walk to school without a sound well here we are, no one else we walked to school all by ourselves there's dirt on our uniforms from chasing all the ants and worms we clean up and now it's time to learn numbers, letters, learn to spell nouns, and books, and show and tell at playtime we will throw the ball back to class, through the hall teacher marks our height against the wall and we don't notice any time pass we don't notice anything we sit side by side in every class teacher thinks that i sound funny but she likes the way you sing tonight i'll dream while i'm in bed when sill thoughts go through my head about the bugs and alphabet and when i wake tomorrow i'll bet th...

I followed footprints in the snow, Never knowing if I was right behind you, Looking down no one would know, I wasn't walking hand in hand beside you. For your footprints lead the way, To a hearth where hearts we made surround you, You're awash in all its glow, And I'm still standing in the snow. I stood and watched the lights go out, While the snowflakes settled all around me, And though it filled my heart with doubt, Couldn't move and this is where you found me. As our footprints disappear, Snow erasing how I came to be here, I've got nowhere else to go, Now you're standing in the snow. Look for understanding in the snow, You look just outstanding in the snow, Standing in the snow. [Interlude] Now it's almost Christmas Eve, And I'm surrounded with the sound of laughter, To give is better than to deceive, For I received a happy ever after. You might have left me in the cold, A fitting ending for the fool that I was, But you'd be cuddled up alone, And...
